I like fish, I like fish a lot!
that's about all you need to know. Although you may want to know more.
My art is fairly backround and colour based, the fish I put in the foreground are just to make things a little less boring. I believe backround are the most important piece of a piece of artwork and I feel sad when they are neglected.
I usually start drawing a wiggly line and draw the rest of the fish from that and they are never the same, If I ever did draw one of my fish a second time, the proportions would be a bit odd. I tend not to draw real fish because I do get proportions wrong and get annoyed with myself, it's easier just to make it up as you go along, and more fun. :)
I'm 18 and play bass, love trains and cycling. I may be on dA in sprees and I tend to disappear every now and then, but I'll probably be back. I've met some great people on dA and I've already let them down enough.
Oh and don't thank me for the favourite...

What I've been up to.

Hello.
I have no idea if any of you are out there still but I was talking to a friend who also has dA and how she feels the community on dA is not really as it used to be. Now I don't really know what's been going on, I've lurked a bit and emptied my inbox every now and then but haven't been in the loop for a while. Also exams. I'm doing my A levels in biology, chemistry, maths and geography with a gap year next year then going to Exeter uni (falmouth campus) to study conservation biology and ecology (unless I fail my exams horribly).
I haven't really been feeling the fish drawing inspiration recently but I'm sure it's still in me somewhere

Hello, you are very talented when it comes to imagining fish. I know it's bad form to promote yourself on someone else's page but I'd love to show you my fish concepts sometime. Maybe we can compare fish notes.

I'm an admin over at, and I think we've finally got the the gallery issue (which you may or may not have been aware of) under control, and we are now clear to submit entries for the deer-bat contest. We will run this contest until Sunday, June 12 when the entries will be judged and a new contest will begin. We're trying to get the group running at full speed again, so we need member participation! If you already have an entry for the current contest, there is now a gallery folder to submit it to, and if you would like to make an entry, you must submit it by the date above to the correct folder. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
